Euan Dickson-Earle, became the U20 national champion in the 60m hurdles, last weekend. Competing in the England Athletics Indoor Championships in Sheffield, Euan breezed through his heat, and was favourite to win going into the final later that afternoon. And he didn’t disappoint, finishing first with a new season’s best time of 7.82 seconds. Euan now represents England at the Welsh Athletics International in Cardiff next week: At the same event, two years ago, he finished 3rd, last year he finished 2nd, so the whole club are hoping he brings home the gold this year.
Younger brother, Callum, also did well in Sheffield, making it into the final of the U17 60m hurdles. Sadly it wasn’t to be a Dickson-Earle double but he did manage a new personal best time of 8.42 seconds.
